Technical Test Lead in Cupertino, CA
Virtue Software Solutions LLC has an opening for the position of Technical Test Lead (Ref# TTL38KP) to work in Cupertino, CA and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Travel and/or relocation required. Job Duties: Responsible for leading quality assurance (QA) analysis and testing of critical business applications. Gather and analyze business requirements and functional requirement documents for all phases of the project life-cycle. Write test cases for the business requirements and execute the test cases and perform regression testing. Create initial test plans and develop test cases and test scripts manually. Involved in writing and implementing various test cases and test scripts manually and through automation. Write automation scripts to test the API (application programming interface) and UI (user interface) of the applications. Perform backend testing by executing SQL queries to fetch data from database to validate UI results. Perform API testing using Postman and Swagger. Perform tests and generate reports for the API responses. Perform regression tests on the APIs and ensure code coverage. Run the API and UI scripts and review the test results. Analyze logs by writing queries in Splunk. Write Splunk queries for gathering logs for capturing and troubleshooting. Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot issues with team members. Interact with the development team and the environment team in prioritizing the defects and validating known bug fixes. Resolve data setup issues. Provide status updates showing the progress of the automation testing effort and open issues to be resolved. Use of Java, Selenium, Cucumber, Postman, Swagger, Splunk, AppDynamics, Jenkins, JIRA, MongoDB, and SQL.
Requirements: This position requires a Master’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 6 months of experience in the job offered or 6 months in a related occupation including Programmer Analyst or related experience. Position requires 6 months of experience with Splunk, Jenkins, and JIRA. 40hrs/week.
